Iceland is one of the best places in Europe for whale watching. There are around 23 different types of whales in the waters around Iceland. The best time to see the whales is from May to September. Most popular places to depart from are Reykjavik and Husavik harbors.
Walk on glacier
When walking on glacier you get to know Iceland's glaciers from the first hand. Whether you are used to walk or not, you can join us and discover this natural wonder of Iceland. For our incentive tours we usually visit one of the glaciers close to Reykjavik, like Langjokull, Eyjafjallajokull or Myrdalsjokull and combine it with other itineraries in a day tour.
Snowmobiling on one of Iceland's glaciers is truly a once in a lifetime adventure. Snowmobile rides are available on most of Iceland's glaciers, but it is also popular to include a snowmobile ride in a Golden Circle day tour where you can discover Langjokul glacier and even have a lunch buffet on the glacier.
River Rafting is the perfect adrenaline boost. The most popular river when staying in Reykjavik is Hvita a river located close to Geysir. But River Rafting is of course also available in other parts of Iceland all depending on where you are travelling.
The Icelandic horse is small, sometimes called a pony, but long lived and sturdy. The Icelandic horse displays two gaits in addition to the typical walk, trot and canter/gallop. There are a lot of horse rentals in Iceland offering all kinds of tours, part of day, day tours and even a few days horse riding tour.
There is a great selection of hiking trails in Iceland, both short trails and longer ones. The longer ones may even take more than one day with a stay overnight in a hotel or guesthouse.
Iceland boasts of a rich volcanic heritage. Big part of the country consists of huge lava fields as a consequence of years of eruptions. The lava tubes we explore are a result of liquid lava flowing in high volumes beneath a hardened surface. In our incentive tours we usually explore some of the caves that are surrounding Reykjavik but there is of course a possibility to explore these kinds of natural wonders in other parts of the country.
Quad biking is a fantastic off road activity for those who are searching for some action. Quad biking ride is a perfect way to discover the country in a different way and get in touch with the nature in an exciting and fast way.
