Grown up in Germany, Katharina always wanted to go to Iceland since she has been reading the books of Jón Sveinsson. She has an MA-degree in Scandinavian Studies but started working in tourism the day after she moved to Iceland 2006. Her free time she spends gardening around the house and in the evening the mother of two relaxes with her family in the hot tub. Her favourite place in Iceland is Krysuvik.
